Miguel Dicent is a newcomer at Metros de Santiago

Metros de Santiago (LNB) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old guard Miguel Dicent (190-79kg-94, college: Morehead State). He played this summer at Bameso in the TBS. In two games he recorded 10.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.0apg and 2.5spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dicent played in the final of Dominican Rep. Santiago League in 2018.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla nineteen years ago. Dicent's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 5.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.8apg, Steals-3 (2.0spg).
Dicent has played previously for three other teams: San Lazaro, Sameji and Pueblo Nuevo.
He attended Morehead State until 2017 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Has a great court vision and a first-pass-then-shoot mentality that make him an ideal point guard; knows how to score, however, and can hit a 3 pointer if left open; can become a star player level. He is also a fantastic 1-on-1 defender, with great lateral quickness.
